There was a press conference yester...Thanks, mom! <br />There was a press conference yesterday that made us feel a bit better---the overall structure is deemed to be sound, although the buttress cracks are still worrisome until they can be closely analyzed. <br />In the conference, they confirmed these damages are not covered by the property insurance, and the mason's estimate was simply "millions of dollars" in repairs. <br />The building remains closed through Saturday, but they hope to open for some or all of their 5 scheduled Sunday worship services. If so, I'll likely go Sunday afternoon to see it myself for the first time.Christophernoreply@blogger.com
