Have some cookies!

Just fixed up a plate of cookies to take to my friends at Starbucks and took a picture to show the results of all my traumatic days of baking.  I think I'm going to get a new oven thermometer sometime after I get back and try and figure out if my oven is working properly.  Two of these cookies just didn't cook the way I thought they should - although I seem to be able to eat them! :)

Anyway, around the outside edge are the Chocolate Snaps, an oatmeal/chocolate chip cookie, and Mexican Wedding Cookies.  In the center are the Rugelach (the rolled up one) and the Cuccidatti.  These two are my favorites this year.  It's funny - on the oatmeal cookie recipe, I wrote "Good!" after baking them the first time and of them all, this is my least favorite this year and the one that just didn't do right in the oven.

And I do plan to start adding some recipes.  I have an old website and I think I'll add a page to that and have recipes there and then provide links to that in my various "cooking" posts here.  The website has pop-up ads at the top of each page, but they're not obnoxious - usually they tie in to whatever the page is about.
